verdor
verdor, sustainable fashion, ethical fashion, llama fibre, sustainable luxury
Verdor is an environmentally conscious brand. As such, we avoid the use of industrial machinery in all of the stages of production, as well as the use of synthetic fabrics or chemical-based dyes.
Our products are entirely handmade using only high-quality organic llama fibre and natural dyes. Learn more about the production process in the graph below:

Shearing
Our artisans carefully select and shear the llamas in order to obtain prime quality fibre to work with.
Spinning the yarn
Spinning the yarn by hand is a time-consuming and difficult process. It requires skill and patience.

Washing
One must throughly wash the yarn before using it to weave.
Dyeing with natural dyes
While we mostly work with fibre in its natural colors, we may opt to dye the yarn using natural dyes to produce a wider variety of colors.

Weaving using manual looms or knitting using needles
With the prime material finally ready, our skilled artisans use ancestral techinques to create each of our unique pieces.
